It all started in 2006 when Tuan Haji Mohamad Bin M Said established Hijrah Water with 1 goal & struggle to provide Muslim users with Halal Water Filters. In Malaysia, there are several water refineries owned by non-Muslims. And why is there no Muslim water filter factory, when the biggest users of water filters in Malaysia are Muslim users. And what is most troubling is when he found out, there are many water filters on the market whose Halal status is doubtful. Because many users still do not know that one of the ingredients in the water filter, which is active carbon, can be made from animal bones such as pigs and cows. This is the responsibility of Fardu Kifayah Hijrah Water to establish the only water refinery owned by our Muslims and today marks the 17th anniversary of the establishment of the Hijrah Water refinery.
